..................So a friend calls up and says

'Can an old neighbour of mine borrow one of your guitars for the weekend?'

'Well.........It's not the sort of thing I usually do or agree to ......... but............... tell me more.'

'The friend in question is called Brian and he used to play in a band called Frankie Goes To Hollywood. Heard of them?'

'You're kidding............ only slightly!!! '

So after a couple of texts and calls I meet Brian 'Nasher' Nash in Chandlers of Kew where the guitar is up for sale.

And the rest is history.

Brian plays a storming set with fellow Liverpool legend Pete Wylie (Mighty Wah), including the number 'Heart as Big as Liverpool' to open up the Liverpool Echo Arena and celebrate Liverpool City of Culture 2008.

Nice one Nasher!

Any time, just ask.
